Whisky Live is dedicated to keeping your details private. The information we collect from you is kept secure and private. We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders, contact you with reminders and to issue your tickets. We will use your information to send you with information about the Whisky Live event you have booked tickets for, and advise you about new Whisky Live event details each year. We may also use your contact information to send you information from one of the whisky producers before the event.
Your credit card details are not retained by Whisky Live. They are sent to the payment provider and the Bank for processing your purchase and are not collected by this website at all. When your credit card numbers are passed to the payment provider and the bank they are encrypted (highly scrambled) so they cannot be easily read.
When you make a purchase from the Whisky Live website, your credit card details are taken by a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. The 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion, trillion years to break.
Ticket Refund and Exchange Policy
Please read this carefully before purchasing from Whisky Live.
Tickets are non-refundable once purchased. You cannot get a refund on purchased tickets.
Tickets are transferable, so you can give the ticket to a friend in the event you cannot attend. The person's name on the ticket does not need to be the person attending.
If you wish to change the session time of the ticket you purchased to a different session time you can do this yourself in Eventbrite. Login to eventbrite.com.au using your email address as and password you entered when you purchased the tickets. Once logged in go to your purchased tickets and click on Transfer to change the session time. This will cancel the ticket you have an issue a new ticket.
Any difference in the value of the ticket will be charged or credited to the credit card used in the original purchase.
Close to the start of the event sessions may be sold out and transferring or changing to another session will not be possible.
The person who purchases the ticket will need to transfer the ticket using their email address and password on the Eventbrite website. Another person not knowing the purchaser's email and password cannot log in to transfer or exchange the ticket.
General Conditions for Ticket Exchange
We reserve the right to refuse a request for ticket exchange if:
- The ticket has not been purchased by you
- The ticket exchange is close to the event date and there are insufficient tickets available for the session you want.
- You have repeated ticket exchange requests for the same tickets
- We suspect any suspicious circumstances surrounding the exchange request such as stolen or fraudulent use of the ticket.
In the event you lose your ticket, you can print it again from the file sent to you in your email.
If you loose the ticket and loose the file sent to you in the email, you can log into the ticket system to retrieve your ticket.
If you go to the event without your pre-purchased ticket you can identify yourself using photo ID and credit card you used to book the ticket with, and we can look up your ticket purchase. If you purchased the tickets with another person's name or credit card, you will need to identify them for a replacement ticket.
Events such as fraud, unauthorised use of a credit card or other illegal activity used to obtain entry or a ticket may prevent you from being permitted to enter the event.
We collect your information when you enter your details to purchase a ticket. You may receive news and updates from us about Whisky Live, special offers, and our newsletter.
We may share data with the following third parties - financial institutions, the credit card and ticketing system software and payment gateway company. If your tickets are to be delivered to you (at an additional cost) we will share your address with the courier or delivery services that are used. These third parties will use the information to facilitate payment services and to enable us to perform our services.
We may offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.
Access to Information
Whisky Live strives to maintain the accuracy of our information. You may update any inaccuracies you may find by using the link at the bottom of any emails from us. You may delete your information from our database or "unsubscribe" using the link at the bottom of emails also.
If a problem arises when purchasing a ticket, you may contact us by email or phone. We are committed to solving problems quickly and efficiently.
Data Storage and Security
Whisky Live protects your information with security measures that include security protocols, secure servers, firewalls, SSL encryption and other technology and procedures used to protect consumer privacy where required.
We will take all care and make all effort to keep your information private, however, we will not be held legally responsible for any breach as the information may be divulged to other parties which has been obtained by methods which are beyond our reasonable control.
