WHISKY LIVE is Sydney’s premiere whisky sampling event, showcasing high-quality whiskies to discover and taste. All styles of whisky will be on show. Explore the different brands and styles of whisky in the market – Scotch, Irish, Australian, Japanese, peated, non-peated, sherry cask aged and more.
There will be short classes during each session, presented by distillers and ambassadors to give an in-depth understanding and sample a special whisky that’s not on tasting in the main event. If you are new to whisky, be sure to attend our first class which gives a good introduction to whisky. Classes run for about 15 minutes and are free to attend.
An important part of Whisky Live is the buffet of food to graze while you are tasting. This can refresh your palate and help reduce the effects of alcohol.

Whisky Live is an event for adults 18 and older.
WHISKY LIVE is suitable for both the whisky novice and those already well into whisky. We present whiskies by brand, with an expert there to help discover, educate, and offer a sample. A quality Whisky Live spirits glass is yours to use at the event and keep for home whisky enjoyment. A printed Tasting Guide profiling the whiskies on tasting will help you select which whiskies to sample. We email a digital version of the Tasting Guide one week prior so you can pre-plan your tasting order.
Classes will be held during your session. They will focus on special aspects of particular whiskies. There’s no need to book ahead, the classes will be announced during your session and are free to attend, so keep an ear out for the announcements.
If you like quality whisky, Whisky Live is the place to discover them. Plus you can purchase a bottle to take home from the Whisky Live Shop at the event. Whisky Live has everything for an enjoyable time discovering whisky. So many people tell us how much they enjoy Whisky Live.
Rare & Old Bar – This bar has a fine selection of rare and old whiskies – high-priced or difficult to find bottles. Tastings of Rare and Old whiskies may be purchased at an affordable price. Sample a whisky from a closed distillery, an old aged or a limited release from years ago. There’s a good range of whiskies with prices starting from $28 per 15ml serve.
Rare & Old Bar Gift Voucher: Perfect as a gift for the whisky lover who is attending Whisky Live. Purchase the voucher for an amount of your choosing and it can be redeemed like cash for the cost of any whisky from the Rare and Old Whisky Bar at Whisky Live. Add your desired amount to the voucher and we’ll post it to you in an attractive folder ready to give. An Important Note: Liquor licensing laws state any intoxicated person must be removed from the event, so please don’t become intoxicated.
Whisky is a relatively high-alcohol drink and intoxication will happen if consumption is not self monitored. We have ample food and water to assist.

Each session runs for 3 hours. Select the preferred session day and time when purchasing your ticket.

Is there a dress code?
People wear smart casual clothing. No open footwear, singlets or dirty clothes please.
What’s the refund policy?
Tickets are generally non-refundable, but may be used by another person with no change to the name on the ticket, or transferred to a different session, if available. Please contact us for transfers with the ticket order number.
